How much time is needed until I start earning money?

From the moment a property is ready to be rented, we need 10 – 15 days to complete the procedures required for your property’s listing to appear on the platforms of Airbnb, Booking.com, Epedia etc.

I already have a listing(s) on Airbnb, Booking.com. Can VKbnb take over the management?

Of course! VKbnb already collaborates with owners that had their properties on Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and any other collaborating platform.

I have more than one property. Can you list all of them?

Definitely! Tell us how many properties you would like us to undertake and we will inform you of the benefits you are entitled to.

Are there any specifications a residence has to comply with in order for VKbnb to undertake its management?

How will my payments be made?

Payments can be credited to a bank account (Greece or abroad). In each case, at the end of each month, your payouts are settled based on your bookings, so that you have the complete picture of your finances and within the first working days of the following month, we will transfer your payments into your account.

Is there any information / tips that I should know?

ΟPhotos are a very important factor in whether a property will have reservations or not. The professional photographing of your space is one of the best investments an owner can make, to increase his chances of making money. VKbnb collaborates with a team of professional photographers that specialize in interior spaces.

Additionally, in order to achieve the best possible occupancy rate, your nightly rate must be competitive and must correspond to the quality and amenities offered and should be upgraded frequently. VKbnb ensures that you achieve a maximum occupancy rate with the highest price possible and optimal results!

What are electronic platforms for short-term rentals of properties?

They are platforms (websites), which give you the opportunity to promote and optimize your property through short-term / midterm rentals. Respectively, while doing an electronic search on these websites, you can secure your accommodation quickly and easily, throughout the world. There are many platforms available, the most common ones being Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.

What can I rent?

Apartments and houses / villas are what most people are looking for. There are a percentage of travelers that look to rent only one room on a property, but it is not a common occurrence.

How does VKbnb manage dates and availability?

VKbnb as your representative on the platforms will handle all questions and requests regarding your property. We just request that you inform us of any bookings or changes that may occur (which we have not coordinated), in order to avoid double bookings.

For this reason we provide our partners (you the owner that is!) with software with which you will have access – at any time – to the calendar of your property, where you will be able to see all the confirmed reservations as well as to block certain dates for your personal use or to host a friend or relative.

How do I block dates for my personal use?

Easily! With the online calendar that we will provide you with, you can simply block the dates that you want, provided that there are no confirmed bookings for those specific dates.

Can I set a minimum stay limit for my property per booking?

Of course you can set a minimum night stay at any time, provided that we receive a timely update from you. Keep in mind that the minimum night requirement can affect the eligibility of you property and of course the corresponding income you could obtain.

Can I have a say in the pricing of my property?

The pricing is managed by experienced Revenue Managers whose goals are to achieve the best possible occupancy rate at the highest possible price so that more revenue is incurred for your property. However if you choose to set the prices yourself for your property or properties, you certainly can and always with the consultation of the Revenue Managers.

I don’t want to use VKbnb’s services any more. How does our collaboration end?

Even though we would like to maintain long term relationships with everyone, we understand that sometimes it is necessary to stop or cancel your collaboration with VKbnb.

You will need to send a written notification (by email) two months in advance. VKbnb will stop receiving new bookings for your listings.

For practical reasons, future bookings that have already been confirmed cannot be cancelled. VKbnb will attempt, in every possible way, to relocate future bookings to other similar properties that we manage. If however this is not possible, VKbnb will have to be compensated accordingly for whichever future bookings couldn’t be relocated and have to be cancelled.
